There's something fascinating about scanner weather reports. With the deadpan delivery, they seem so mechanical, almost melancholy, regardless of what the weather happens to be doing. It could be totally sunny and warm or you could have the worst blizzard of the past 100 years, and it seems like the scanner voice doesn't know the difference or even care.
