Recorded November 1996 on analog 4-track at Nature Mark in Boise.
Previously released on ...Fooled by the Tigris (FHM016, 1997),
Tristan was experimenting with location recording, in preparation for the Thanksgiving trip to California. His friend Wendy was stuck late at the office, so Tristan used the corporate meeting room while she toiled at the computer. Oh, the title. Wendy and Phédra both worked at Nature Mark, which is a division of Monsanto Corp. that sells genetically-modified potato seeds. After the company "downsized" Phédra, it earned the title of this song.
